Samsung i780 Review

Samsung i780 is one of the few recent models running on the Professional edition of the Windows Mobile 6 Operating System. Samsung i780, it has a touch-sensitive display, but yet utilizes the slim candybar form-factor with a full hardware QWERTY-arranged keyboard. If we paraphrase the Samsung model line as a ‘family’, the i780 is the bigger European cousin of the BlackJacks.
As specifications, the SGH-i780 has everything, one would desire from such a phone (except global roaming), yet all this is packed in a slim and pretty body, way smaller than the top models of other companies.

Treo 800w shows up on Sprint roadmap for July release.
Treo 800w on Sprint roadmap

The newest Treo will have GPS and EV-DO rev. But still run on Windows Mobile 6.0, which is pretty sad, especially if that revised version of 6.1 launches at CTIA next week as expected.
Another interesting detail mentioned in the leaked image is that both camera and camera-free versions of the device will be available, something that is always a good sign for individuals working in government positions or in areas with heightened security concerns. No word as of yet on pricing or if the device will be a Sprint exclusive for an undisclosed period of time.

RIM BlackBerry 9000 with New Interface

This is the successor of the 8800 (and the 8700) . What is more interesting though, is the software. The videos, the lucky insider managed to capture, point out BlackBerry phones will get a new contemporary look of their user interface, with animations and cool looking icons. Though obviously consumer oriented, we may hope to see some better multimedia implementation in these otherwise business phones.

While the associated user manual does not have any information on what update the N95 has undergone, you can still go through it if you’ve misplaced your copy.

The Nokia N95 8GB costs US $779.

Nokia N95 8GB

The Nokia N95 is your music player, digital camera, PDA and personal navigation device all rolled into one. Now that’s what I call a multimedia computer. All this packed into a cell phone’s form factor that fits in your pocket takes the Nokia N95 miles ahead of its competitors.
