
T-Mobile’s G1 Android phone seen in photos. The shots were grabbed from a Chinese-language forum and sent to Engadget. The design matches the FCC images and outside renderings exactly and carries both the T-Mobile branding as well as a near-final version of Google’s upcoming mobile operating system; the touchscreen, trackball, and hidden QWERTY keyboard are all present as they have been seen since the G1 was first seen as a prototype for Google in the past several months. Internal features of the phone aren’t disclosed as part of the leak, though the G1 is known to support T-Mobile’s 3G network and should also have GPS and Wi-Fi as core features. read more…

Just a bit ago, other Motorola phones in the W-Series were announced, all featuring that tell-tale yellow keypad. There were rumors about how it is going to be called the new motorola. Finally T-Mobile will call it MotoACTV (most probably standing for “Moto Activeâ€). According to TmoNews, a sporty phone the MOTOACTV W450 should be coming to T-Mobile soon. And, CellPhoneSignal said that T-Mobile might start selling the MotoACTV on September 3, the same day when Sony Ericsson TM506 should hit the shelves. Unfortunately, there isn’t very much new here. The only real stand out feature is this yellow-clad phone’s water resistance. One good thing is the MOTOACTV W450 will only cost you between $30 to $50 when it launches next month. read more…
