Jamster) announced a global partnership with browser development firm Opera Software to add a Jamba bookmark on the Opera Mini customized mobile browser homepage, enabling users direct access to products including music, games, video and related mobile applications.  BlackBerry Bold to Be Awfully Expensive in Canada

A leaked flyer shows the upcoming BlackBerry bold is going to be priced at an astounding $399 for a 3 year contract. Rogers Wireless, the sole carrier to offer the new smartphone in the North American country, will apparently be selling it for prices starting at $399. That price is along with a painful three year contract. This Bold is even more expensive than an iPhone right now, on top of a three-year contract!The $399 price was not announced by Rogers, but it has appeared in a leaked image found on CrackBerry. The image looks to be from an official Rogers presentation, which means that the high price will most probably be confirmed soon.Now we just have to wait to see the pricing on AT&T

Did anyone else see the sketch Stephen Colbert did on the iPhone Kill Switch earlier today?Stephen Colbert starts talking about the iPhone “kill switch.” This is when Apple iPod Touch and Apple iPhone regularly check-in with Apple servers to ensure that undesireable software is not installed.

 RSPCA releases MobiDog mobile game

RSPCA (the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has released its first mobile game, Mobidog. It is created together with Lateral, a mobile content developer based in London. However, MobiDog isn’t a virtual pet game, it’s a collection of dog-themed mini-games, which are a spin on arcade classics. The overriding message though is about better care for dogs. It follows the success of a web-based cyberpet launched by Lateral for the charity. read more…
