Orange has made the world’s first ever in-SMS advertising trial in Switzerland in partnership with Amobee Media Systems, with participation of several major brands. Customers who signed up (opt in) to the trial were offered a discount on their invoice in return for insertion of advertising in the SMS they received. Google’s Google Translate service, now has a version with an extremely iPhone-friendly user interface.  On Thursday the company launched a new version of its Translate service that lets anyone convert their native tongue into one of the other 23 available languages. The service has been reworked mainly to appeal to travelers who don’t want to carry around phrase books and have their mobile phones with them anyway. read more…

Samsung U800 which resembles the Samsung Soul (U900) in both style and features. Samsung had a great success with the ‘Soul’ series, and now Samsung decided to come up with another device. This time Samsung went back to the slider model-Soul S7330 to tweak specs a bit and make the device more affordable to the mass market.
