The FCC has approved the latest product of the Hitachi, Casio partnership; an Exilim-branded 8-megapixel camera phone. Comes in a clanshell cellphone design, Casio Exilim W63CA sport a 800 x 480 swivel screen. This Hitachi-Casio phone is going to receive Exilim branding, not unlike the slim line of digital cameras from Casio.Its 8 megapixel sensor is using new new Omnivision sensor, which is never used on any camera phone before. read more…

E-Ten today let us know that they will soon launch the Glofiish V900 and the Glofiish X610 after unveiling back in February and confirmed again in June. The two new releases point out that the company is trying to improve their portfolio with quality handsets.
The Glofiish X610 is an upgraded version of E-Ten’s X600 featuring E-Ten’s Today screen plug-in, based on Spb Mobile Shell V2.1 as well as the ID is a little different from Glofiish X600 by using a flat touchscreen (which is quite common for today’s Windows Mobile Professional smartphone). read more…
 
Nokia today unveiled the Nokia N85 two-way slider, the latest Nokia Nseries multimedia smartphonethe N85. It’s a slider phone topped by a 2.6-inch, 320-by-240-pixel OLED screen. The N85’s screen was  bright and it presents deep the colors were, and its excellent viewing angle. The wide-viewing angle, as well as a high refresh rate and low power consumption are reasons companies have been experimenting with OLED instead of the usual LCD screen technology. HTC today announced the introduction of the HTC S740, a slim and compact smartphone that provides the traditional 12-keypad as well as a sliding QWERTY keyboard for optimal messaging. As Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard Edition smartphone with a QVGA display, The S740 adopts the style of HTC’s popular Touch Diamond, but shares much more in common with the S710 and S740 smartphones that HTC has put out in the past.
