
Images from an owner’s manual for the Motorola VU30 have leaked on the web on Friday, revealing more information on the flip phone, which is coming to Verizon in the not too distant future. Previously only known as the VU30, the handset has now been dubbed “Raptureâ€. It looks as a slim clamshell and with its rounded forms and buttons reminds us of the U9. Black Bolf from Rager has been available in Canada. The un-boxing video showed a comparison of the Research In Motion BlackBerry Bold 9000 with other BlackBerry handsets and the Apple iPhone 3G. Research In Motion and Rogers didn’t exactly make it easy for the BlackBerry fans in Canada to gain the BlackBerry Bold 9000. Palm is turning to one of its rivals to produce its latest smartphone. HTC, which produces and sells mobile devices under its own brand, is going to be manufacturing the Treo Pro.This comes as a surprise to many since HTC has been working hard on marketing their own branded products and would technically be considered a direct competitor to Palm. This does to a point explain why the Treo Pro is as thin as the HTC Touch and also bears similar good looks. read more…

Microsoft Corp. has followed its recent Mojave Experiment marketing campaign by signing up the advertising endorsement of American comedian Jerry Seinfeld. A report by Reuters has confirmed that Russia will indeed be see the Apple iPhone 3G, and before next year. Reuters reports that Apple has finally agreed a deal to bring the iPhone 3G to Russia, launching on Mobile TeleSystems “likely” in ОктÑбрь (October, that is). TeleSystems on the sale of iPhones in Russia, one of the world’s fastest growing markets for mobile telephone handsetsa market source said. Sadly, Apple declined to comment as did a spokeswoman for Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), Russia’s largest mobile phone operator which is controlled by Russian services conglomerate Sistema.
