Telus has just launched Samsung Slyde m540 with a pretty hot price, $49.99 with a 2 year contract or $179.99 with a 1 year agreement. While in the US it is known as the Samsung Rant, but in Canada it will be renamed as the Slyde. You’ll buy the rebranded Samsung for $229.99 in case you’re not up for carrier commitment or simply get it for free, if you’re willing to go for the 3 year contract. The Samsung m540 will not only be under a different name and include different branding but will also come in Black and Pink.

This slick messaging phone has a 2.1-inch screen, 2-megapixle camera and a slide out keyboard for quick text messaging and email. The Samsung Slyde also has built in GPS for tracking your location. Samsung’s Slyde m540 comes to Telus in grey and pink.
This new retro inspired television set will turn your 3rd generation iPod Nano into a TV – giving you a fun way to increase the screen size and volume of your Apple player. Styled to look like a combo TV and VCR, a Nano TV and iPod Nano together offer the same kind of functionality that an old-school TV combo used to. Even more, in fact, as the Nano can store far more video that could be recorded on a bulky old video tape! Its light weight and compact size also means that the Nano TV is ideal for flights or to take with you when travelling too.

It does this by magnifying the screen on your Nano by up to 2.8in. Then it plays the sound through the TV speakers. Which also means you could hear your music without having to keep your headphones on the whole time. The iPod Nano 3G TV will soon be available from the Thumbs Up UK website. The suggested retail price has been set to £14.99 (about $23 USD).
Here’s one that just never gets old: Picture quality. For marketers of HDTV service, picture quality is the differentiator that comes after “more channels.†Allio announces a 42-inch HDTV with Blu-ray, PC and PVR built-in. The 42-inch set arrives with a full-blown PC within, including an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive and Windows Vista Home Premium.

The Silicon Mountain Allio 42-inch HDTV PC and Its integrated Blu-ray player within its TV is fairly slim frame. Add to that a 1080p panel and about 50 possible inputs and connectivity options including wireless and USB and you have a pretty nifty all-in-one machine on your hands. It is a full 1080p LCD set and starts out at $1,600, which ain’t a bad deal. And it does split-screen so I can surf the Web for cheat codes while your boy plays video games
Typing on the iPhone’s touchscreen is just downright awkward. That’s why we’re excited about this BTKeyMini, a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The BTKeyMini is available from Avalive and is on pre-order right now but it really works directly with the iPhone, which saves you from having to tear up an old third-party keyboard. With this device, you can wirelessly sync up to your Apple mobile device of choice, and have that wonderful feeing of clicking keys underneath your fingers.

It should fit in even a very small briefcase. It uses a battery of it’s own so it won’t use battery of iPhone. There’s still the iPhone’s lack of copy and paste, but hey this will still make it easier for you. It almost makes your iPhone into a laptop.  It was first announced in January, and appeared for pre-order in August — but there’s no telling when it will actually roll out for real. The price will be approximately $92 when that happens.
