ZTE is betting on Windows Mobile. The Chinese maker, which has previously only made phones for the Chinese market, is now breaking into the worldwide smartphone market with a Vodafone-branded ZTE E810 entry-level Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard phone. As usual in models of this manufacturer will focus more on the low price in order to try to win its functionality to its customers.

iMAndroid had spotted the Android–which also based on Linux–on its Neo FreeRunner. Openmoko (running Android) have surfaced over at iMAndroid of the blurred of the photos, but we do believe they are genuine. iMAndroid claim that they think the Freerunner will be the second Android clad phone on the market, but the race is certainly tightening up for a photographic finish.

Philips may not be a very popular mobile phones manufacturers but it does comes out with some mobile phone units which is worthy of coverage from time to time. Philips unveiled its latest handset in the Xenium series. The new Xenium X620 has a nice, glossy appearance. Although the Philips Xenium X620 only offers up a 2.4 inch QVGA display along with a lowly USB 1.1, there’s no arguing about its great talk time life of twelve hours.

Specs wise, the Xenium X620 comes with a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio, 2.4-inch QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera that can take both photos and videos, music player, Bluetooth, Â and battery that can support up to 12 hours of talk time.The X620 also features and FM radio which you can listen through its speaker or through a stereo headset which also serves as the radios antenna. It also supports microSD memory card to give you more room to store your music and video files. As the Philips Xenium X620 gives out three times data capacity of GPRS, it lets you experience high speed internet and WAP access. Price was not disclosed.
Pantech has just introduced a sleek-looking phone that’s white as snow in Korea, called the Pantech Sky IM-S400L. Only available in the Korean market, the new CDMA phone has a sensor on its Glide keyboard allowing users to use the latter as a touchpad for the PC, which can be very practical when it comes surf the web.

The IM-S400L also features a nice 2.6†LCD, a Digital DMB TV tuner, a subway map, electronic dictionary. They are available in three colors: white, pink, and blue.
