Vodafone offers £39 USB modem

Vodafone launched a pay as you go USB modem that doesn’t need topping up every month. The TopUP and Go modem follows the familiar format of a USB dongle that can be used to add mobile broadband to any PC with a free USB port. It is available for £39 also doubles as a USB Flash drive holding up to 4GB of files. The new ‘TopUP and Go’ modem will be in direct competition with offerings from O2, T-Mobile and Orange, and will also offer £15 credit which gives 1GB of data.

It is capable of speeds of up to 3.6Mbps, but customers should only expect speeds of up to 1Mbps to 2Mbps. So it’s all a bit ’swings and roundabouts’. If you want flexibility, it’s here. If you’re developing a mobile broadband habit, maybe a long-term deal is better.

More Leak Pictures Of Lenovo’s Ophone

That slick looking Android phone from Lenovo is back in the spotlight once more, this time with more leaked images courtesy of Android Community. From what we can see in the pictures, the OPhone has a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. There is also a microSD card slot –no surprises there. It’s a no-brainer that there will be an onscreen keyboard, but there will be Chinese and English input methods. There’s no denying that the Lenovo Ophone is indeed sexy, far more sexier than the G1, and quite possibly even sleeker than the iPhone itself
