Samsung Ego S9402 is a new luxury handset and is designed  with less crystals but has   the liquid metal body. Its price will be 48,990 Russian rubles or about $1,570 U.S. dollars. It seems that Samsung has optimistic success’s selling this device even during this economic depression(who knows?).The Euroset Company in Russia will be the first and only store in the world to offer the Samsung Ego S9402. Samsung Ego S9402 is a dual SIM device and it packs a Bang & Olufsen sound processor.

It is said that Helio is  readying the launch of the Ocean 2 or OZ2 as some tell it. Helio Ocean 2, the handset that’s been in the rumor mill since the spring of 2007. Vodafone Brings the BlackBerry Storm to India

Vodafone Essar and Research In Motion (RIM) have announced availability of BlackBerry Storm exclusively for Vodafone customers in India from January 15, 2009. Adding another color to touch screen technology, the Storm will be offered via Vodafone Essar, and will fetch Rs. 27,990 (around $580 USD).

Sony Ericsson launches PlayNow Kiosk – new mobile entertainment service

Sony Ericsson has just launched PlayNow Kiosk, a new mobile download service for Asia Pacific to attract more customer. The new service, which comes as part of a content licensing partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, will have over 23,000 DRM-free songs, 30 movie titles, four TV series and 25 games at launch. Put as simply as possible, these kiosks will be situated in over 80 Sony Ericsson stores in Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia (during the first wave of rollouts), and users wielding SE handsets can plug in to browse / download TV shows, games, ringtones and music.

Concerning with the price, movies available on the same day as the local DVD release cost S$24.99 (US$18.40) per title, while each TV series episode and music track is priced at S$2.99 (US$2.20). Music albums start from S$19.99 (US$14.72) and a compilation of 50 pre-selected tunes cost S$9.99 (US$7.36). Games, on the other hand, begin from S$5 (US$3.68) per title. Users will need to purchase a stored value smart card from Sony Ericsson stores, plug their phone to the kiosk, and browse the available content via a touchscreen panel before downloading directly to the handset. read more…
