Cricket Wireless has announced that it is now offering the Nokia 3606, a thin 3G capable flip phone, to its customers in the United States. As it is announced in the third quarter of 2008, The 3606 is one of the first from Nokia to support the AWS band.
The Nokia 3606 is an ultra-thin and stylish flip phone optimized with popular features; including an MP3 music player with dedicated “hidden-until-lit” external music keys to provide instant access to your favorite songs and a 1.3 megapixel camera with an LED flash. The phone measures 90mm x 47.5mm x 15.3mm (3.5in x 1.9in x 0.6in) in size and is expected to offer up to 3.5 hours of talk time or 10 days of standby from a full battery charge.
This Ultra thin Phone also features an FM radio (wired headset required), an integrated speakerphone, BREW 3.1.5 with 15MB of user memory, SMS/MMS with predictive text, stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera with LED flash, a MicroSD card slot for up to 8GBs and a micro USB charger/connector.

Sprint has just announced announced the availability of a bright yellow version of the Motorola i580, a ruggedized push-to-talk cell phone. This important addition to the Sprint handset lineup adds another dimension for Nextel Direct Connect customers. The i580 is certified to Military Standard 810 F for shock, vibration, dust, solar radiation, temperature extremes.
The i580 features a 262k color main display and the option of using a standard 1130mAh battery or a massive 1640mAh extended battery. As displayed the phone is a neat little size. The Moto i580 features a built-in GPS system that works with the pre-loaded TeleNav turn-by-turn navigation software.

A new Bluetooth accessory has appeared from Motorola. T325 is going to offer you either a selection of your finest music via Bluetooth, or some interesting conversations while driving. Motorola T325 Bluetooth Speaker can also be used as a wireless hands-free car system. The T325 hasn’t been officially released yet but when it does come out, it will probably work with most Motorola phones that have Bluetooth with A2DP. The price and release date of T325 will probably be announced by Motorola in the next few months.

Samsung have launched their latest rugged cellphone, the Samsung Xplorer B2100.This phone corresponds to military standards MIL-STD-810F, which is built to withstand submersion, dust, extremes of temperature and shocks. It’s also IP57 certified, means it can last up to 30 minutes underwater (at a maximum depth of 1-metter)
The Samsung Xplorer has a 1.77-inch 120 x 160 LCD display, microSD slot to augment the pitiful 7MB of internal storage, a 1.3-megapixel camera and speakerphone. Samsung xplorer b2100 also includes Bluetooth version 2.1 and battery with 600 capacities, calculated for 9 hours in the conversation regime.While it’s quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900) though not 3G. To make it more usable outdoors, Samsung included a loud external speaker, noise cancellation technology and a flashlight.
