Dual SIM Samsung B5702 officially announced

Samsung recently announced the upcoming release of its latest dual-SIM handset, the B5702. Coming with enhanced dual SIM interface and new visual indicators, the Samsung B5702 is also one of the only two dual SIM phones ever made that have quad-band GSM/GPRS support.   Another specific dual SIM feature is dedicated side key that’s used for choosing which SIM card to use for communication without rebooting the phone. What the new phone has to offer is a 2.4-inch TFT QVGA display that comes with support for up to 256K colors. In addition, the device also includes multimedia functions like MP3 and MPEG4 players, and FM radio with RDS. The specification list shows Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP and a document viewer as well.Users are able to browse e-mail and the web, and can enjoy photos and video captured by the B5702’s 3 megapixel camera.

Google Updates Gmail and Calendar for iPhone

Google (NSDQ: GOOG) announced that two of its web services have been updated for iPhone and Android browser. The new version of Google Calendar for the iPhone  adding features like (some) offline access, a “floaty bar” for archive, delete, and more, and quicker access to search and tasks. By enhancing the functionality of its two features – the mobile Gmail service and Google Calendar – using hard line caching and new browser technologies, like HTML5 and Gears, Google Tuesday boosted up the Apple iPhone and Android browsers.

The big new features in the new version of Google Calendar for the iPhone are the ability to edit existing appointments, invite other people to events, and the ability to manage appointment invitations and attendance statuses. Search has been moved to the top for easier access, and individual message appearance has been overhauled, so that reading your emails on the iPhone more closely resembles the desktop Gmail experience.

Life happens in busy homes. Imagine you just stay ahead of messy floors with the touch of a button! KTF, the South Korean carrier that just released the Nokia 6210s , announced the introduction of a Cleaning Robot which can be controlled viaa 3G cellphone. The robot is called the CW100 and is the result of a collaboration with Microbot. While iRobot Roomba lifts an amazing amount of dirt, dust, pet hair the CW100 is a “smart” vacuum. It uses an onboard video camera to send live images to the mobile phone, so if you see an untidy spot, the user can remotely control it using the keypad and clean it up.
