Kyocera G2GO M2000 & Kyocera Laylo M1400 Announced At CTIA

 CTIA 2009 show as one of the most important worldwide events in mobile communications and has just started in Las Vegas. Kyocera used the moment to introduced two messaging centric phone. Kyocera has introduced the G2GO M2000 and Laylo — both  are slider phones andmade for North America’s CDMA networks.

The Kyocera G2GO M2000 features a slide-out QWERTY keypad and Bluetooth wireless technology. In addition, it  provides support for a wide array of communication methods, including here SMS, EMS, MMS, Instant Messaging, and IMAP/POP3 email. The device also packs some voice recognition features, including voice tags, voice digit-dialing and voice response.

HTC Snap snaps to life, coming to US as S522

HTC announced the all new Windows Standard Phone, the HTC Snap (US version is the S522). the HTC Snap  has a slim 12mm body and features HTC’s innovative Inner Circle to automatically prioritize email from a preselected group of important people. The HTC Snap offers Microsoft Direct Push Technology for real-time e-mail delivery and automatic synchronization with your Outlook calendar, tasks, and contacts via Exchange Server as well as support for POP3 and IMAP e-mail accounts. The smartphone’s full QWERTY keyboard also features “extra-large domed keys” to provide for a better typing experience. Powered by a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM 7225 CPU, the smartphone has a 2 megapixel camera and also comes with built in 256MB ROM.

Ultra-basic Nokia 1661 to hit T-Mobile USA

 The Nokia 1661 is the lowest priced color phone. It targets the emerging markets and is ideal for those who want simple features. Now Nokia 1661 is with T-Mobile USA. Apple Releases iPhone 3.0 Beta 2 for Developers

Apple has posted iPhone OS 3.0 beta 2  build 7A259 in the iPhone Dev Center, bringing developers a number of feature improvements and stability fixes. Apple said it plans to open its live testing services that support these new services during the ongoing iPhone 3.0 beta test program, but warned that access would be limited to a chosen few developers at first, and gradually expanding to more developers as time progresses.

Sources tell Ars that Apple is warning developers to avoid its tethering and MMS features because they “are not supported, and should not be used.” As with the the previous developer build (7A238j) Apple warns:Devices updated to iPhone 3.0 beta can not be restored to earlier versions of iPhone OS. Devices will be able to upgrade to future beta releases and the final iPhone OS 3.0 software.
