CrackBerry got official word that Verizon will be releasing OS 4.7.0.148 for the BlackBerry Storm 9530 tomorrow, May 31st! Verizon has additionally mentioned that it will release the update to customers as an over-the-air download starting at 10PM EDT. Verizon has not specified what enhancements and bug fixes the update addresses, only noting that it “improves the overall user experience.”
“Customers will be able to get the update via the Web at www.blackberry.com/update beginning Sunday, May 31 from 3 p.m. Eastern Time. Verizon Wireless will also be rolling this update out to customers through an over-the-air download beginning Sunday night (10 p.m. Eastern Time). Slacker has announced the release of an update to the Slacker Radio Mobile App for BlackBerry. Version 2, 2.0.2 actually, is now available and it includes a variety of bug fixes and enhancements. Highlights include faster performance / app response and much (MUCH) shorter gaps between songs.Users will now experience near instant skipping while streaming (results may vary based on connection quality). There are many bug fixes in the latest version the major changes outlined below.
The major enhancement of the application update is that we have optimized the application to perform faster and remove many of the “Gaps” when skipping or transitioning songs. When a song first starts, there’s alot of activity going on, but after 10-15 seconds you should get near instant skips (Depending on your connection speed).

Nokia and Adobe are now offering Flash Lite 3.1 for S60 5th Edition. Owners of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic can upgrade their Flash Lite player to version 3.1 from the “App update†utility.  It’s a 700k download and installs without even needing a restart, which is pretty cool. Once installed, Flash performance is improved. Also, the Nokia Messaging Client has moved from beta status to a full release for S60 5th Edition. Of course, changes for the new release include bug fixes and more language support. Nokia also said that it is working to bring homescreen integration and support for HTML email to the next version of Nokia Messaging.
