Mark/Space has released a beta version of The Missing Sync for the Palm Pre and Mac OS X. The app allows you to sync everything from calendars, to contacts, bookmarks and files from their Mac to their Pre.
The Missing Sync works with iTunes and iPhoto to transfer and sync favorite photo albums and playlists of music and podcasts — both audio and video. Plus, this app converts and transfers digital video optimized for Pre.
The Missing Sync for Palm Pre works with Palm Synergy™ so that contacts from Address Book on your Mac can be viewed together on your Pre in a single list that links them with contacts from Google and Facebook accounts. Calendars from iCal can be viewed or layered together in a single view with other calendars.

You can order it now for $39.95 and get it as soon as it becomes available. For more information and to download, visit mark/space.

Verizon‘ president/CEO said it will offer new BlackBerry model called the Tour. Lowell McAdam, CEO for Verizon Wireless, spoke at a Barclays Capital conference and again confirmed a few devices in the pipeline, including the BlackBerry Tour. Here’s what McAdam said:
“You will see devices like the Palm Pre and the Cousin on our network from Palm. You will see a second-generation Storm. You will see a new device we call the Tour from BlackBerry as well. That is an upscale of any other QWERTY-based devices that we have from BlackBerry today. You’ll see Motorola back into our portfolio. We feel very good about the progress that the Motorola team has made. And, yes, you’re going to see Android devices as well.”
The Tour will feature a touchscreen display, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Sadly, there is no words on its release date and price, but we guess it will be at the end of July.
