GeeksPhone unveiled the new Cupcake packing Android GeeksPhone One, yesterday in Barcelona. GeeksPhone One will be the first Android phone from GeeksPhone for the Spanish market.
This new smartphone runs on Android 1.5 Cupcake and features a 625MHz PXA310 processor, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a front-facing camera, a microSD card slot, AGPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and supports quad-band EDGE/HSDPA connectivity. The phone is slated to launch this fall for somewhere around $350 to $425… unlocked of course and it will be running Cupcake.
Fennec, the mobile version of the popular Firefox browser, has been updated once again. The Windows Mobile Fennec, now in Alpha 2, comes with improved panning performance, newly designed themes, the JavaScript error console is now built in, improved add-on support, numerous bug fixes, and an improved UI polish. The new Alpha 2 version of Fennec is for free, yet users should keep in mind that it has been released for testing purposes, so that the development team would be able to get wider feedback on their approach to the user experience

“The initial focus of Fennec development was on building a new user experience that reflects Firefox’s design principles, adding touch screen support and other interactions appropriate for mobile phones and other handheld devices. Fennec preserves leading features like the Smart URL Bar (”awesome bar”) and support for add-ons.
This Windows Mobile alpha release continues to focus on stability, performance, and integration with the Windows Mobile OS. This version also includes numerous fixes and and our new shiney theme.”
