AT&T and Sony Ericsson announced the Sony Ericsson C905a Cyber-shot™. The C905a slider has the sharpest-ever camera in the US carrier’s roster at 8.1 megapixels and stands as its most advanced cameraphone. the C905a is focused on photos, offering a 2.4-inch scratch-resistant mineral glass screen and built-in 8.1-megapixel camera with a xenon flash, red-eye reduction and face detection.

LG to launch mobile application store in Asia on 14 July

LG Electronics is launching an online store for mobile phone applications on 14 July, with an initial focus on Asia and aspirations for a more global reach by year-end. Australia and Singapore will become the first country who will get LG Application Store. While, other Asian countries will be added soon – 15 different languages will be supported. LG Application Store will provide 2,000 apps available by year end and targeted for windows mobile devices. Currently, the developer site supports the Java software development kit and will support a virtual developer lab and over-the-air downloads for widgets by the end of the year, according to LG. The Store currently provides apps for Windows Mobile only – LG GM730 and LG KS20 – and it’s not clear yet when other handsets will be added.
LG is more successful in Europe than the U.S. and will go after the market with the highest penetration first,” said Rob Enderle, principal analyst with the Enderle Group. “In Europe the open nature of the market works better for LG and they have a lot more freedom.

It became known that the model called Samsung T559 Comeback will be on sale for 15 July.In addition, the source has a few pictures Samsung T559 Comeback phone in two colors: purple and red. Samsung T559 Comeback is designed for fans of text messaging. Other features that the Samsung T559 Comeback should also include would be a 2-megapipxel photo snapper, with auto focus, a Bluetooth connectivity, a GPS receiver and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

Nokia’s Surge official on ATT

The Nokia Surge was announced today by Nokia and AT&T, coming as a “Symbian S60 handset” that “offers social style with smartphone capabilities at a low price.” Nokia Surge packs a 2.4″ 16M-color display of QVGA resolution. Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band UMTS with HSDPA 3.6Mbps support provide the network data transfers, while Bluetooth, USB and a 2.5 mm audio jack cover the local connectivity.

Thee highlights from the release are:
*2.0 megapixel camera – Customers can capture quality photos with color camera and 4X digital zoom
*AT&T Navigator – AT&T Navigator provides audible turn-by-turn directions, monitors traffic and alerts users when there is a slowdown or incident
*AT&T Mobile Music – Customers can listen and download their favorite music from Napster Mobile, eMusic Mobile, XM Radio and more over the air
*AT&T Video Share – The first-ever service in the U.S. that allows users to share live video over wireless devices while participating in a voice call
*JuiceCaster – Customers can share videos and pictures from their wireless device to the Web’s most popular sites including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr
