Philips has unveiled their latest handset namely the Philips Xenium X650 in Russia and Asia. This model is made in a form-factor “slider” has an attractive appearance with smooth lines of the shell, which houses the 3.2 MP camera with autofocus. Just like any other Xenium, your Philips X650 will last a month on a stand-by and give you up to 8hrs of talk time.
Of the additional functionality of its new items, the company pointed to a built FM-radio with RDS, MP3 player with support for microSD memory cards, as well as support for wireless technology, Bluetooth, a profile including A2DP, which allows to transmit stereo sound. The phone also supports Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) connectivity with GPRS.

The impressive Nvidia Tegra chip is confirmed to be headed for use on smartphones. Samsung is the one to be among five top handset makers developing a handset powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra processor as confirmed by A Samsung spokesperson on Friday. Nvidia’s Tegra is capable of playing high definition content (720p), and supposedly will play console-quality games with intense graphics. The netbook supposedly uses Windows CE, and also has Flash Lite, Acrobat Reader, and many other applications pre-installed.
