Nokia has unveiled the Nokia 6760 slide, Which is already known as the AT&T Nokia Surge. The phone will be making its debut in Q3 2009 for European buyers. Same as Surge, Nokia 6760 slide is a messaging optimized device with a sliding QWERTY keypad but most notably includes a 3.2 megapixel camera instead of a 2.0 megapixel one. Some of the packaged applications are also different.
Other features include a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display, up to 8GB microSD card support (with a 2GB card in the box) and A-GPS, along with Nokia’s mapping app with 3D landmarks and terrain mapping. The 6760 has Exchange support and provides access to Ovi Mail, Gmail, Yahoo! and Windows Live Hotmail email accounts. Users can also send instant messages with Google Talk and Windows Live and have access to Facebook and Twitter. The Nokia 6760 slide will be available in Europe during the third quarter for $285.
Samsung has introduced its watchphone dubbed as S9110 and is the world’s thinnest measuring a thickness of just 11.98mm. The Samsung S9110 watchphone is said to sport a glass scratch proff touch screen with a stainless steel housing while its wrist belt is made out of leather.
The S9110 features a 1.76-inch 262k color touchscreen display, has 40MB of internal memory (no word on expansion), Bluetooth 2.1, speakerphone, an mp3 player, and Outlook email sync.Samsung S9110 will be first released in France – apparently starting this month. Its retail price is of around €450 ($640).
T-Mobile, the fourth-largest U.S. carrier, plans to release the Samsung Comeback and Gravity 2. The Samsung Gravity 2 takes on pretty well the same form factor as the original Samsung Gravity that preceded it.
The Samsung Comeback is a stylish mobile phone with a unique side-flip that reveals the full QWERTY keyboard. It features 3G, MP3 player, e-mail, IM, video messaging, 2MP camera and MicroSDHC card support (up to 16GB). The phone is available in two colors (frost silver cherry and pearl white plum). The Samsung Comeback is available in stores now in Pearl White Plum or Frost Silver Cherry colors for $130 with a two-year service agreement.
