Vertu, the premium mobile phone brand from Nokia, has added one more high-end premium phone , namely Vertu Ascent Ti Carbon Fibre Edition. The phones are handcrafted in England, and each handset will include “the optimum amount of carbon fibers and resin”. Carbon fiber is known for its strength, resistance, light weight and not to forget price.
The handset itself sports features that remain pretty much the same, a 2-inch QVGA display, 3G functionality, 4Gb built-in memory and 3.15-megapixel flash camera.The new Vertu collection includes the following models: Ascent Ti Carbon Fibre Limited Edition, Carbon Fibre Grip, Carbon Fibre & Copper Grip, and Carbon Fibre & Aluminium Grip.

Some pics of a new slider from Motorola have surfaced, dubbed the A45 Murano, the latest addition to the company’s A-series. There are no many details on this pudgy guy as of now. The Murano is being compared to the QA1 Karma, that the A45 is a non-3G, QWERTY-toting messaging phone, that should feel right at home among Motorola’s other low-end messaging phones. Motorola A45 does not support third-generation cellular network, and only works with GSM/GPRS/EDGE standard and the phone has a 2 MP camera. There is no word on pricing or availability.

In the past few months, Samsung has succeeded developing a line S-series (S3310, S5230, S5600, S8300 UltraTouch and S8000 Jet). It looks as though Samsung will be releasing a couple handsets pretty soon, with the S9110 and i920. Bluetooth.org have qualified another device for use with Bluetooth 2.1 and that device is the Samsung GT-S9110. The S9110 will feature Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP, alongside the possibility of Wi-Fi connectivity and the SCH-i920 has just passed FCC tests last month, being dubbed a “Cellular/PCS CDMA Phone with Bluetooth, Ev-DO and WLAN. Unfortunately, this headset is no much information about whether it supports Bluetooth 2.1 In addition to A2DP. In terms of numbers and models listed, the next mobile phone Samsung S9110 will definitely be the highest in the specifications.

Aura wasn’t the only product with interesting design that Motorola was prepping for Luxury/Superluxury market at the time. Looks like Motorola is planning a new luxury phone after the Aura, known as the Ivory E18. The phone is a dual slider with a two-level sliding design.
