Acer seems to be pretty serious into the smartphone business and will unveil their line-up at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona mid-February. They have been revealed in the DX650 and X960 mobile phones which run under Windows Mobile 6.1 operating systems and include WiFi and a built-in GPS receiver.
The Acer DX650 is a dual-sided Windows Mobile smartphone, with a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen on one side, and a full numeric keypad and 1.27-inch 128 x 96 monochrome OLED display on the reverse. It has GPS, a microSD slot and mini-USB port. No further info on its specifications.
The Acer X960 seems to be still in the Glofiish line with a 2.8 inch display and features SiRF Star III GPS, WiFi, HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, 533MHz Samsung S3C 6410 processor and microSD
