Alltel adds the Motorola VE20

Motorola MOTORAZR VE20 which was introduced a month ago for Sprint, now got a store through Alltel Wireless. Alltel has joined the list of carriers that are refusing to let the Motorola Razr die. On Monday, it announced that it was launching its own version of the Motorola Razr VE20.The VE20 packs a standard 3.5mm audio port, a microSD card slot, bluetooth, and dedicated touch-sensitive music playback keys on the front.

The thin, shiny phone, which is currently offered by Sprint, comes in a blue and silver color scheme but it offers all of the same features as the Sprint model. With a 2 megapixel camera, GPS function and MP3 player it comes with 250 min of talk time and 360 hours of standby time. Its external 2.2″ TFT display provides 262K colors with 240 x 320 pixels while the external 1.6″ CSTN one has 65K-color with 120 x 60 pixels. The Motorola VE20 is set to be priced at $99.99 with a 2-year commitment, after a $50 mail-in rebate.
