The Motorola Sholes has passed the test of the FCC and is ready to hit the streets for everyone. Motorola Sholes is another handset that the mobile phone maker should soon introduce on the market running under Google’s Android operating system.
The new handset supports EVDO Rev A and also comes equipped with WiFi 802.11. Among the striking features include a QWERTY keyboard, a 3.7” touchscreen display and a built-in 5 megapixel camera. It also has a built-in memory of 512MB, GPS, memory card slots for microSD/microSDHC and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Unfortunately the rest of the documents, such as the photos, features, and user manuals have been locked tight for the next 180 days
As the rumor stands, the Sholes is to debut sometime next month to compete with Sprint’s HTC Hero and T-Mobile’s Motorola CLIQ, and may be called the Motorola Tao upon launch.
