Art Lebedev’s Scartel WiMax handset concept:

The design studio of Art Lebedev, perhaps most well known for their pocket-melting Optimus OLED keyboard. The artists at Art Lebedev dreamed up a WiMAX handset concept phone for use, presumably, on Scartel’s Russian WiMAX networks in Moscow and St. Petersburg. This is a multifunction device with WiMAX support, as well as Wi-Fi and triple-band GSM capabilities which’s likely going to keep it from seeing mainstream duty in the US

Art Lebedevs Scartel WiMax handset concept:

In addition to a WiMax radio,  microSD, dual cameras, 3.5mm audio, an A/V plug and a huge 850 x 480 screen. The buttons are kept minimal at the base: five-way joystick and call/end, and no keypad, so it must sport a touchscreen. There’s a lot to like already. Android maybe? No word yet if it will go from concept to actual product.
