Back at trade show in China in June, the ASUS Eee Pad MeMo appeared along with Asus Padfone. Today, Netbooknews reported that the ASUS Eee Pad MeMo is scheduled to hit market sometime in January. Asus is bundling the tablet with a MeMic Bluetooth companion device that allows you to make calls or be used as a remote or to listen to music which seems like a neat little idea. When it was first introduced in June, Asus claimed that the device would feature 3D with a remote control that would be used as a phone with a transparent glass display. However, now we hear they have dropped the 3D feature.

This 7-inch tablet will feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, even tough it was stated earlier that the device could come featuring Android Honeycomb.
