Today Asus unveiled a new laptop targeted towards business users. the B50 notebook is geared for the business which offers the latest Express Gate technology that empowers users with a 8s boot-up time for rapid access to a host of multimedia and online applications. The B50A is powered by Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of RAM, Intel GMA X4500HD and up to 320GB hard drive. Asus B50A offers also a DVD Super-Multi DL writer, WiFi, integrated 1.3 Megapixel webcam. It has also an integrated biometric fingerprint scanner for better security. Asus B50A features a spill-resistant keyboard, so the notebook is protected from accidental spills of up to 120cc of liquid. A special built-in LED light for the keyboard also adds extra use for the notebook even when in a dimmed meeting room.
Other features and specs of the Asus Windows Vista, Mobile Intel GMA5 Express Chipset, a 15.4-inch WXGA/WXGA Color Shine LCD, also, since mobility is one of the main considerations of business professionals when it comes to mobile computing, the Asus B50 fits in perfectly with its ideal weight of 6.61-pounds with an 8-cell battery. Pricing and release dates are not yet available though. B50A notebook gives the ultimate notebook computer for the business environment as it is packed with speed, intelligent features, and versatility as well the ultimate competitive advantage for the business executive.
