ASUS, Taiwan launched the P835, a PDA phone that delivers an Internet browsing and multimedia viewing experience without equal. Opera Mobile, a fast, user-friendly and rich-featured browser is embedded in the phone which brings a complete Web experience to the P835. Asus P835 enables users to perform the full breadth of online tasks—from hopping onto their social networking sites and updating their blogs, to checking email and viewing streaming video. The phone is designed for business-savvy professionals who appreciate a screen as big as their ambitions. So, The P835 is equipped with a large 3.5†touchscreen that runs at WVGA resolution. The Asus P835 is a brand new Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone with a 528MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor, and six to seven hours of talk time on a single charge, according to the company
There’s also a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, 4GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR (Enhanced Data Rate), and an A-GPS radio. Interestingly, the phone can double as a WiFi access point to share its cellular data connection with up to ten other wireless devices.
Asus said nothing regarding the price and availability of P835, but It is hoped the smartphone will be in stores in the next couple of months
