AT&T has officially announced the HTC Touch Pro2 which is branded as the Tilt2 and the Touch Diamond2-branded as the Pure. Both od them are completed with Windows Mobile 6.5.
The Pure is AT&T’s more unique entry and has a 3.2-inch but very sharp 800×480 screen. It sports some design changes and of course, the new features of Windows Mobile 6.5. The HTC Pure features a slick design and offers a 3.2-inch WVGA touch screen with both a gravity and light sensor. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G support are all onboard as well as a 5-megapixel camera and music player. It will run you $149.99 with a two-year contract. The phone includes the Microsoft’s MyPhone backup service, an improved Internet Explore Mobile browser that offers Flash Lite support and better navigation tools, and support for Windows Marketplace for Mobile, which will launch later this year.
Tilt 2:Similar to its predecessor, the Tilt 2 has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that tilts for better viewing. It has a 3.6-inch widescreen WVGA display, and a speakerphone with dual speakers, dual microphones and noise cancellation. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera. It will cost $300 after rebates with new agreement and should be available in the coming weeks.
