Bell has officially announced the BlackBerry Tour 9630! Bell, Canada’s largest telephone and telecommunications company, launched the BlackBerry Tour 9630 ahead of rival Canadian CDMA carrier Telus. The Tour rocks EVDO and GSM capability as it is a complete world phone being quad band. The BlackBerry Tour 9630 is available through Canada’s Bell — beating Sprint’s and Verizon’s Sunday launches — for CAD $249.95 on a three-year deal. The BlackBerry Tour smartphone features advanced multimedia capabilities, enhanced Internet and email, full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.2 MP camera. The Bell Tour is all but identical to the standard Tour handset, including assisted GPS functionality that lets users find navigation information via BlackBerry Maps and there are shortcuts to popular social networks such as Facebook. It also provides the ability to download, view and edit Microsoft(R) Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, and supports BlackBerry App World(TM) giving clients access to more business and leisure applications.
