Best Buy announced today that it will offer Sprint’s HTC Hero for sale come October 11.Customers will be able to buy the HTC Hero for only $179.99 with a 2-year activation, and without the need to file any mail-in rebates. Best Buy Mobile is part of Best Buy Co Inc, which has operations in the US, Canada, Europe, China and Mexico. They’ll be the only non-Sprint store that’ll sell the Hero so if you have a Best Buy near you but not a Sprint store, you’re in luck! While, Sprint offers the same $150 worth of rebates to get to the end $179 price, but $100 of that rebate is in the form of a mail-in rebate.
