Connect2Media, a multi-platform entertainment company has announced the launch of 80’s favorite Crystal Quest for mobile. This game currently graces selected carriers and will be available with various other carriers across the globe in few weeks. Crystal Quest is regarded as one of the very few classic games for Apple’s line of computers. It has been ported to a few different formats in its time – there was even an Xbox Live Arcade version not so long ago. There are at least a dozen or so old Mac users in the US that still remember the original though, from way back in 1987. ”Good old-fashioned arcade games are making a comeback because they are still just as fun as they were 25 years ago” said Buckland. Crystal Quest delivers a unique combination of remedial enjoyment and intense arcade action. In this game the player has to collect enough crystals and open a gateway to enter the next stage. Based on the updated Xbox Live Arcade and Windows Vista versions, the mobile version of Crystal Quest is characterized by a retro gameplay and updated graphics. Players will certainly get hooked on to it as it ensures a unique gaming experience with its sophisticated interface and enhanced special effects.
