The new LG GD900 Crystal was showcased for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona about two months ago. Now, The LG GD900 Crystal is coming to a Carphone Warehouse near you. The giant retailer says the GD900 is expected to hit the shelves in mid-May. You can pre-register your interest right now at the Carphone Warehouse website and if you want to dive in with a pre-order, the LG GD900 Crystal is free with a contract. Â LG GD900 Crystal is highly stylish, slider mobile phone offering up a see-through tempered glass keypad design with ‘cool glow’. Â That keypad also transforms itself into a laptop style mouse pad that offers easy web browsing and navigation. It even packs a handwriting recognition feature, with a sweep of your finger automatically converted to text.
The GD900 will sport  8-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi,  TV-out and Dolby Mobile audio technology. GPRS Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), EDGE Class 10, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 connectivity have been included in the package as well, along with a microSD (TransFlash) memory card slot that can offer support for up to 16GB of additional storage space.
