Casio announced an 8.1MP mobile handset today for Japan region. Dubbed Casio EXILIM W63CA cameraphone, Â features one of the most advanced cameras in the industry. The clamshell has a wide-angle 28mm (35mm format) lens with nine-point autofocus and includes a YouTube mode which records VGA video at 30fps. Images and video playback should be clear and crisp thanks to the phone’s 480×800 AMOLED WVGA display.
The phone includes a Micro-SD slot, Bluetooth, a media player, a web browser and an email client to keep us connected, while a weight of around 123g (4.33 ounces) won’t weigh down our pockets. The W63CA measures 50mm (1.96″) x 110mm (4.33″) x 17.4mm (0.68″) and will go on sale in Japan in November. No, we like it because there’s a real sense that this is a camera converted into a phone, not vice versa.
