RIM has just released their new version of Facebook app for BlackBerry devices, version 1.7. The new version is 1.7 and just updates a few small things, plus enhances performance. You can of course download Facebook 1.7 for BlackBerry via blackberry.com/facebook, or m.facebook.com, or by hitting up BlackBerry App World.
Facebook Mobile for BlackBerry (Version 1.7) provides the following feature enhancements:
*News Feed Support – The ability to set the News Feed as the landing page
*News Feed Filters – The ability to toggle between ‘News Feed, Status Updates, Photos & Links’
*Caching Improvements – The application uses the device memory more efficiently.
*Feed Pre-fetching – The user will not be required to wait while their Facebook Feeds are updated
*View Profile Menu Option – Clients may easily view their own profile by selecting ‘View my Profile’ from the menu. “

The Bold OS 4.6.0.244 has bee found online.  This is for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 only. As always, just remember it’s a beta release. Please only upgrade if you are comfortable with the process. Make sure you do a full backup before doing anything and only install if you know what you’re doing.

The AT&T faithful, the OS 4.5 update has came to us. OS 4.5 roll out is now a done deal. Every BlackBerry handset carried by AT&T that supports OS 4.5 now has access to it on RIM’s AT&T downloads page. Send and receive MMS from your Sprint BlackBerry are available now if your are a Sprint customer and your BlackBerry is running OS 4.5

Pantech has just introduced a sleek-looking phone that’s white as snow in Korea, called the Pantech Sky IM-S400L. Only available in the Korean market, the new CDMA phone has a sensor on its Glide keyboard allowing users to use the latter as a touchpad for the PC, which can be very practical when it comes surf the web.
The IM-S400L also features a nice 2.6†LCD, a Digital DMB TV tuner, a subway map, electronic dictionary. They are available in three colors: white, pink, and blue.
