Dell cuts Motorola Droid price

Dell Mobility is now offering Motorola’s hot new Droid smartphone for $119 with two-year contract. It will even ship the handset to you for free via Fedex.The deal is only available online.

To refresh: The Motorola Droid comes equipped with a 3.7-inch WVGA (480 x 854 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash, video recording and its being powered by Google’s newest Android 2.0, which offers new functionality and an improved UI. Users can multitask and switch between six apps at a time and have access to the Android Market.

Other features include a microSD card slot with a 16GB card included, 3.5mm headphone jack, 3G, EV-DO and Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with A2DP, light sensor accelerometer, proximity sensor, GPS support with transceiver and with Flash support coming in 2010.

Some images of the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 aka Striker have recently shown up. The new BlackBerry Pearl 9100 3G is the updated version of the BlackBerry Pearl 81xx Series Smartphone. The new BlackBerry Pearl has gone by the codename stratus and/or striker. The handset features a SureType keyboard and an optical joystick. No word on things like camera resolution, though there does appear to be an LED flash next to it. Unfortunately, it seems that the exact details on when RIM might announce the availability of the new Pearl lack at the moment

AT&T has a brand new phone and this time it’s coming from Pantech. The handset is available in blue and pink colors and has a new form factor for the AT&T line.
The outside of the device provides enough control that users can play music, send texts, or make calls without opening it. Once open, users can more easily draft text messages and emails with a keyboard and a 2.6-inch LCD display. Speakers are located on each side of the screen and the device has GPS built-in. Other features include 3G, GPS, music player, AT&T HTML mobile browser, photo camera, and video recording.
The Impact will be available starting this Sunday, November 22, and it will cost $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate when purchased with a new 2-year contract.

Motorola Motus a new handset has emerged onto the scene . The new device has just emerged in a leaked photo, and there are also some specs on it available. Speculation has it that Motorola Motus should come with Android 1.5 and the Motoblur interface. the Motus looks like it features a reverse flip keyboard, adding to further speculation that the phone’s codename could be changed to the Motorola ‘Backflip’ – according to Pocket-Lint.
