LG Velvet (Cookie Plus GS500) Launched In Italy

LG has officially launched the LG Cookie Plus GS500 as LG Velvet in Italy. The handset is now available in Italy via TIM for 179 Euro (about $242) with free of contract. The phone has two color options, Imperial Purple and Black Matt. It packs integrated popular social networking with a native Facebook client and Twitter.

Like the Cookie Plus, the LG Velvet is equipped with a 3.0-inch touchscreen display with 240×400-pixels resolution, Accelerometer, 3 megapixel camera, HSDPA 3.6Mbps, Bluetooth v2.1, Web browser, Music Player, FM Radio with RDS, 3.5mm headset jack, 30MB internal memory and a microSD card slot. He brings Flash UI, Muvee Studio,and a 900mAh battery provides 4-100 hours. LG Velvet 107×52.5×11.5 dimensions in mm and a weight of 92grams.

The Samsung Diva S7070 is previously available only in white and black. Now the Diva S7070 will now be available in Luxury Gold too. It is bundled with a trendy handbag holder in the box.Together with the Diva S5150, the Diva S7070 is part of Samsung’s new line-up of phones especially designed for women. It is not clear if this Diva S7070 will come with real gold but it will definitely look good in the new color scheme

The Samsung Diva S7070 will come with similar hardware specs as the original. It is a candybar form factor with 2.8-inch touchscreen display with 16 million colors and “padded” the back cover.

The Xperia X10 is a pretty remarkable smartphone. The XPERIA X10 is Sony’s first Android-powered phone and includes the company’s exclusive User Experience (UX) interface. Orange announced that it would begin selling the XPERIA X10 in April for free, but only for select calling and data contracts. Also, Orange has bagged exclusivity on the white version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

The phone includes a number of customizations, and communication and media content aggregators known as Timescape and Mediascape. The XPERIA X10 sports a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of internal memory, and an 8.1 megapixel, auto-focus camera.
Orange is also keen on offering the Xperia X10 Mini and that might be offered somewhere in May this year.

Images of 3G Blackberry Pearl 9100 have been leaked in the wild. The photos appeared on Techmovida, who apparently had a hands on with the new RIM device. From the pictures it has the SureType keyboard. It has made another appearance, that the BlackBerry 9100 looks skinny compared to the Bold 9700
