Samsung has just had a patent approved for a mobile phone that also includes a Bluetooth headset in its case. The concept will surely prove to be highly useful, as having to carry around a separate device can be quite soliciting and make it prone to being easily lost.
Bluetooth headsets bring the great advantage that the user will not get tangled in wires and benefit from a
greater amount of movement freedom even while on the phone. There is also one disadvantage that occurs
while not using it. This is one incredibly small device and, thus, very easy to lose. It actually needs a separate box for carrying around easier.
What did Samsung think? If the Bluetooth headset could somehow be linked to the mobile phone after it is no longer needed for use, then it will stop being such a problem. That’s exactly what their new patent looks to solve, by making the headset part of the phone’s body.

LG released a designer clamshell phone in Korea adorned with crystal and flower patterns. Cyon Cristal Edition, the handset is designed by Robert Ryan, a chief designer of “Pau Smith”. It come with a 2.2 inch display, external color display and hot keys for on the top flip.

Samsung S730i is a slider phone that comes with a 256k colors TFT LCD screen, bluetooth and 80MB internal memory. It is the first i-mode handset that support QR-code capturing/decoding. The phone can also read Microsoft Office Document, and able to stream the display to your TV via the TV-Out cable included.
Samsung L768, E848, J608 and S209 also have just been introduced in Taiwan and will be available by next month. No word on pricing so far.
Motorola W490 is a clamshell phone that has a lot of similarity with the the W385. The handset comes with music playback capability, picture messaging support, various applications, and support for T-Mobile service.
The new Motorola W490 phone will be released in September 24, 2007, although pricing details are currently unavailable.
