T-Mobile revealed a new Pay By The Day prepaid plan to bring more pre-paid customers to the provider. The plan will cost users $1 per day that they use their phone and 10 cents per minute on calls outside the network and made during the day.
The plan includes unlimited free nationwide calling to any T-Mobile number or other networks only between 7:00PM and 7:00AM.
Calls to any landline or non-M2M will cost 10 cents per minute.
Messaging is priced at 10 cents to send and 5 cents to receive.
Every first call made each day is charged $1 regardless of N&W or M2M minutes.
If the first call is either of the two, the consumers will not be charged any amount after the $1 while the 10 cents per minute will still apply to other calls.
Refilling your account is available through T-Zones, on to T-Mobile’s website.
BenQ has announced a new handset, the C36 music phone, which replaces the company’s C30. The C36 uses top-mount controls for its integrated FM tuner, MP3 library and 1.3-megapixel camera shortcut. The camera is capable of recording AVI format movies and can be utilized as a webcam when connected to a PC via the C36’s miniUSB port.
The C36 is dual-band GSM phone features a 2-inch screen with a 176×220-pixel resolution. The FM tuner features an instant or scheduled recording function, while supported audio file formats include MP3, WAV, MIDI and AMR. Playback is accomplished either via the dual speakers or the included headset, while files are stored on a microSD card up to 2GBs in size. GSmart has announced newly developed UI software Smart Touch, which is a finger friendly interface that works like iPhone according to the company. The software will be available soon in May, although leaked beta version has been around on the internet.
Smart Touch is an interface that users can customize by adding in 16 most frequently used apps as shortcuts on standby screen, with the shortcuts list displaying at the bottom of the screen, users are able to find the shortcuts they want to activate by swiping across the screen and launch the program simply by tapping on the icon!
The Porsche Design P9521 is definitely not small, with a size at 140 grams and 91 x 48 x 18.4 mm. It has a twistable screen, which can be used as a view finder for the 3 megapixel camera. A finger print scanner has been integrated below the screen.
