Telstra along with local bank, NAB and Visa have launched a contactless, mobile phone payments trial with a group of consumers and participating merchants at Melbourne’s Docklands.This technology allows consumers participating in the trial to remotely download their NAB Visa credit card software application onto their Telstra mobile phone SIM card, enabling them to purchase goods and services by waving their mobile phone over a participating NAB merchant’s reader. read more…

The FCC has approved the latest product of the Hitachi, Casio partnership; an Exilim-branded 8-megapixel camera phone. Comes in a clanshell cellphone design, Casio Exilim W63CA sport a 800 x 480 swivel screen. E TEN Releases New Devices   Glofiish X610 & Glofiish V900

E-Ten today let us know that they will soon launch the Glofiish V900 and the Glofiish X610 after unveiling back in February and confirmed again in June. The two new releases point out that the company is trying to improve their portfolio with quality handsets.

The Glofiish X610 is an upgraded version of E-Ten’s X600 featuring E-Ten’s Today screen plug-in, based on Spb Mobile Shell V2.1 as well as the ID is a little different from Glofiish X600 by using a flat touchscreen (which is quite common for today’s Windows Mobile Professional smartphone). read more…
