Chinese Company Shows Windows XP Phone. This gadget is a combo between a MID and a mobile phone running Windows XP. According to PC World, the xpPhone can start from Windows standby mode to receive calls and text messages. It has a battery life of seven hours when not in standby mode and with a larger battery it can run for 12 hours.
The device has a pull-out QWERTY keypad, a 120GB hard disk and a 4.8 inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels. It also boasts of  1.3-megapixel camera,  1GB RAM, 64GB SSD, and WiFi. XPPhone supports GSM/WCDMA, CDMA/EVDO and TD-SCDMA/TD-HSDPA connectivity, so it can be used anywhere on the globe.  It weighs 400 grams and is 2.5 centimeters thick.
