Blackberry maker, RIM, is preparing to launch a successor to its touch-screen Storm handset, according to reports, which indicate that it may appear as early as this week on Vodafone’s network. The BlackBerry Storm 2 suffer countless leaks over the last few months and the Guardian.co.uk is reporting that Vodafone UK customers might see a Storm 2 launch this week. It will be priced with a plan inexpensive enough to lure iPhone users, as it will only need a £30 ($47) monthly plan to use versus £34 ($54) for Apple’s handsets
The Storm 2 brings the same SurePress technology as before, but has 18GB of storage in the box (16GB memory card, 2GB inbuilt) and will run the latest BlackBerry OS, as well as packing more ROM and Flash support.
