Cricket announced that it is now selling the candybar Samsung SCH-r211 mobile web phone with AWS. The phone is a budget phone and only costs $90. Â The dual-band (CDMA 800/1900) SCH-R211 also supports AWS, and you can use the phone in all Cricket markets.
The new Samsung SCH-r211 is rather small, and qute low-end, sporting a speakerphone, web access, messaging, game and ringtone downloads. It has a 1.5-inch, 65,000-color display and measures 4.07 inches by 1.77 inches by 0.59 inch. Its features include messaging, a voice memo recorder, a personal organizer, a 500-contact phone book, a WAP Internet browser, USB support, 2MB of internal memory, polyphonic ringtones, Â and a voice memo recorder.
