Dell to sell Pharos’ Traveller 117 and 127 smartphones

We have two other Pharos-made devices spotted on Dell’s online store - 117 and 127. Unfortunately, Dell isn’t ready to start selling them, hence the links we had are not accessible at this stage. Original device manufacturer Inventec, known for the Velocity phones, is also behind the Traveller series.

The devices feature access to 7.2Mbps HSDPA networks, assisted GPS capabilities and Windows Mobile 6.1 with the Microsoft Office Mobile suite. Both also share a 2-megapixel camera along with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing unit for video calling. Differences include the full QWERTY keyboard of the Traveller 127 and the touchscreen of the 117. From the photos, it’s clear the 117 will also run the SPB Mobile Shell. Both units offer 4 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby.
