Images from an owner’s manual for the Motorola VU30 have leaked on the web on Friday, revealing more information on the flip phone, which is coming to Verizon in the not too distant future. Previously only known as the VU30, the handset has now been dubbed “Rapture”. It looks as a slim clamshell and with its rounded forms and buttons reminds us of the U9. In standby mode the lower left and right corners of the external display house shortcuts to the music player and the camera, which can be activated and controlled by the display (it is touch sensitive). Unlike some other flip-phones, the dislpay will allow users to capture still images and videos via the 2.0-megapixel camera while the phone in its closed position. VU30 is a CDMA/EVDO phone with microSD slot for memory and microUSB for connecting a charger or cable for computer connection. There is no words on launch dates or pricing information for the VU30, though an earlier leak suggested a mid-August release.
