Cell phone Duet D888 is the latest new dual sim card phone from National Geographic and Cellular Abroad. Â Made by Beyond E-Tech, the unlocked Duet accommodates two SIM cards: one for the Cellular Abroad intentional SIM card and one for another card of your choice. You could use your own SIM card for a GSM carrier like AT&T or T-Mobile or you could buy a prepaid card during your travels.
The silver candybar handset otherwise features a 2.8-inch, 240×320 resolution screen and includes a 2-megapixel camera, along with an MP3 player, an FM radio, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, a personal organizer, messaging, and a speakerphone. Users can also send text and MMS messages, and a speakerphone is built in. You’ll also find a selection of National Geographic content like wallpapers and ringtones. Â A 1GB TransFlash card (roughly equivalent to microSD) acts as the storage medium.
The phone can max out 4 hours of talk time and 130 hours standby time. It is available now at the Beyond Etech site for around $349.
