E-Ten today let us know that they will soon launch the Glofiish V900 and the Glofiish X610 after unveiling back in February and confirmed again in June. The two new releases point out that the company is trying to improve their portfolio with quality handsets.
The Glofiish X610 is an upgraded version of E-Ten’s X600 featuring E-Ten’s Today screen plug-in, based on Spb Mobile Shell V2.1 as well as the ID is a little different from Glofiish X600 by using a flat touchscreen (which is quite common for today’s Windows Mobile Professional smartphone). Powered by Windows Mobile 6.1, the X610 features a Samsung SC3 2442 CPU at 400 MHz, 128 MB Flash ROM and 64 MB SDRAM. The handset comes with a 2.8 QVGA touchscreen and quad band GSM / GRPS / EDGE connectivity. Additionally it has Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, WiFi and a 2.0 megapixel camera allowing pictures up to 1600 x 1200 pixels.
The Glofiish V900 which is said to be the first Windows Mobile DVB-T 3G smartphone. To this E-Ten added the X610 a 2.5 G Windows Mobile smartphone. The V900 has a 2.8″ VGA screen, 533mhz Processor, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/ and 3G/3.5G (HSDPA), 256 MB Flash ROM, 128 MB SDRAM. It’s claim to fame is an antenna for its FM radio and a TV out cable. moreover, the Glofiish V900 comes with Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, WiFi, built-in SiRF Star III GPS and an FM radio. In addition it supports DVB-T digital TV. It. It has 2.8 inch touchscreen that supports the DVB-T typical VGA resolution and 3 megapixel camera. Pricing is not known at this stage, and the same goes for the exact release date.
