Big name video game developer, publisher, and distributor Electronic Arts announced today an agreement with video game company Eidos Interactive to bring several games to mobile phones. Effective immediately, the agreement provides licences to EA across all existing mobile channels and mobile devices for four key titles: Tomb Raider Underworld, Just Cause 2, California Games X and Minesweeper, with a future option on the mobile versions of the majority of Eidos videogame properties for a period of three years. With more than 35 million games sold across the globe and two blockbuster films, the Tomb Raider franchise needs no presentation, hence its upcoming mobile iteration will most probably be a huge success. Tomb Raider Underworld will be released on November 18 in North America on the PC, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Just Cause 2 is set to release sometime in 2009 on the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Topics: Eidos, EA, Tomb Raider, Lara Croft, EA Mobile, Minesweeper, Just Cause 2, California Games X
