UK : Sony Ericsson has announced a new “Eco-Friendly” mobile. Sony Ericsson Naite is Sony Ericsson’s first GreenHeart handset and It is made from recycled and recyclable plastics. The Sony Ericsson Naite (articulated as “nighty”) exemplifies the brand’s pledge to reduce hamful effects of manufacturing mobile phones, and an effort to reduce its carbon footprint by 15%. The phone features a QVGA display, an HSPA connectivity, stereo Bluetooth, a 2MP shooter, and a MicroSD card support (up to 8GB).It’s being shipped with reduced packaging, a low power consumption charger, and an e-manual instead of a printed Users Guide. The Naite also comes in ‘Ginger’ Red as well as ‘Vapour’ Silver colourways. Sony Ericsson Naite should be available through O2 UK as of now, free on select plans, or for £97.86 ($155) on Pay & Go.
