FCC Approves HTC S522

The FCC has approved a version of the HTC S522/Snap  with support for AWS 1700MHz bands (T-Mobile’s 3G frequency). This Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone appears as HTC MAPL100 in FCC’s documentation – it’s because it is also known under the codename HTC Maple. The state of the Snap’s signature Inner Circle feature remains in limbo. Chances are we will be able to check out an unbranded S522 being.  HTC Snap is a quad-band GSM smartphone with HSDPA support. It features landscape oriented QVGA screen, 2MP camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and QWERTY keyboard.
