FCC Reveals iDEN Motorola i9 with ModeShift

After much waiting and stalking, the first taste of Motorola’s next generation RAZR has finally been caught in the wild and it should be making its way to a Sprint store near you sooner than some. The FCC has revealed the first images of the RAZR V9-alike for iDEN networks now known as the i9. The handset, which may also possibly launch under the Cabo name, will operate on iDEN and CDMA networks from Sprint. The trick is in the keypad, where Motorola used its ModeShift technology to make the experience better across different apps, or at least that seems to be the idea here.
