Gresso, a Russian based manufacture of exclusive luxurious GSM handsets, managed to release other two highly expensive handsets, included in the new “Avantgarde White Diamonds” collection. In the early We have told you about Gresso’s Avantgarde Collection luxury phones with black diamonds. The new collection includes two new mobiles called Gresso White Diamonds and Gresso Royal White Diamonds.
In terms of design, the new phones are not different from the other handsets that Gresso rolled-out until now, hence they’re simple but elegant candybars. Moreover, most of the materials used in the Diamonds phones are the same: African blackwood (said to be more than 200-years old), titanium, sapphire crystal glass, stainless steel and leather. What makes the new devices different is their keypad, for which the manufacturer used diamonds.
The Gresso Royal White Diamonds has been more expensive one of the two. It has a limited edition as Only 200 units will be produced (though we highly doubt that any of the Gresso ultra expensive models enters mass production). All of its 23 gold keys are crowned with a total of 2.53K of white diamonds. It will come at around 33000 euro.
The Gresso White Diamond handset has only its navigation keys encrusted with white diamonds. Therefore it would get the more mundane price of 9000 euro (about $14,135).
All Gresso handsets feature a tri-band GSM support, a 65K color TFT display QVGA resolution, a microSD memory card slot and a 2 megapixel camera. They all run on Windows Mobile 6 Standard. The new White Diamonds handsets measure at 119,5 x 48 x 14 mm. The real disappointment is that the magnetically locking battery cover is only made of stainless steel.
